This policy explains what information Kaamsajilo collects, why, and what control you have over it. Most tools on this site work without creating an account and without sending your input to our servers at all.

Information we collect

If you never create an account

Client-side tools (date converter, Nepali typing, EMI/age calculators, GPA/vehicle/salary tax calculators) run entirely in your browser. Your inputs are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. The resume maker works fully as a guest too, but guest resumes are saved only in your browser's local storage — clearing your browser data removes them, and we never see that content.

If you create an account

• Account data: email address, a securely hashed password (we never store your plain-text password), and an optional display name.
• Resumes you save to your account, including any profile photo you upload (re-encoded on our servers and stored privately — see below).
• Session metadata for security: IP address, user-agent, and sign-in timestamps, so you can review and revoke active sessions.
• If you enable admin multi-factor authentication: an encrypted TOTP secret.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you provide, solely to respond to you.

Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for login sessions and CSRF protection. If you consent, we may also use analytics cookies and, in the future, advertising cookies (including from Google AdSense) — see our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to control your consent.

How we use information

To provide the service you asked for (saving your resume, keeping you signed in, responding to your message), to keep the platform secure (detecting suspicious sign-ins, rate-limiting abuse), and — only with your consent — to understand aggregate usage and show relevant advertising once the site carries ads.

Uploaded photos

Resume profile photos are verified by their actual file content (not just file extension), resized, and re-encoded on upload — this strips hidden metadata (like EXIF location data) and rejects anything that isn't a genuine image. Photos are stored privately and only ever served back to you, the owner.

Data retention

Account and resume data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual resumes at any time from the resume maker. To delete your entire account, see Account Deletion.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We use third-party infrastructure (hosting, email delivery) strictly to operate the service. Once ads are enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies subject to their own privacy policies — you'll be able to manage this via the consent banner described in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, via Contact or the self-service option described in Account Deletion.

Children

Kaamsajilo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page and note the change when our practices change materially. This is a first draft and has not yet been reviewed by the site owner or legal counsel — see the notice at the top of this page.
